well its pretty much done sort of lol.
i still want to paint the motor, guads, tank, and frame, and i also need a new exhaust as the stocker is too small.
but i thought i would put it back together for this weekend and take it for a spin.
motor is a fab 50s 88cc kit

I love the black & red theme going on there.

I have mine black & red too.

Though mine has more red than black & yours is more black than red.

Very nice!

thanks mate, do they give more of a yellow colour in some light?

I've had the bars, bar mounts and a couple of other parst chromed on my 70, and am unsure whether to go chrome or nickel on the rims

yep the nickel plating gives more of a goldish tinge.
looks good imo. i wanted to get them chromed but was told by several different chroming places that the would not be able to get the chrome all the way into the wheel. this was bout 3 years ago so things may have changed

No, I think he was right, a "snifer" is a nose with a telescopic sight on it for incredible accuracy.

Think we may have to add that position to each quad squad as we send them out on detail.

Would be good to have a "snifer" report as soon as we reconoiter in the paddock!
