Guys just giving a update on the event. We have had an sensational response of people coming to race . There are plenty on that weekend in Darwin so come prepared. Chariots of Thunder speedway starts 6.30 on Saturday night . Road racing at Hidden Valley on Sunday . And for you party goers Crocasarus Nightclub is there opening night Saturday and don't forget the Casino there is aways something on there.
The Track was used for the NT titles on the weekend . But be warned its a chellenging one. WE will take out 1 Double and the triple for our race only because we are going to widen it some more , so closer racing.
Just to let you know who's coming Ant Yewers Chris Brenton Ryan Lancaster Chad Mckay Andreas Anderson Ed Hargraves Waldo Hussie Blake Waldmann Mark Alcorn . A couple of guys are using this meet to gauge their speed for the Nationals . Knowing weather you've got the speed against Joe will make Smithton a cake walk or we got to go home and find some! is what been said.
NTFS is doing good deals on quad frieght at the moment.
Espn has had a contracted event moved to our weekend so at this point in time they are not coming. They have been really good and are trying to work on a live Internet broadcast if everything at the track will permit it to happen. Something about the phone line Not sure how that will work. One camera man in a tower in the middle of the track

Joe Byrd has his air tickets and his quad is in transit.
He will also be bringing one of the USA's top quad ladies to show us how it's done - so girls get your gear on!

| No Mick it is not his wife Heather . AS you are probably aware Joe and his Misses split some time back and the school is a two person job . Are you implying that this person is Joe new lady friend. I don't know maybe you should ask him. He is very approachable and will talk to anybody even you. Mick rumor is that he is riding a Can AM for 09 but don't tell anyone because he is not a person or event that you want to support. Good day. |

No I didn't know they had split. I guess I am a bit out of touch with the marital status of the American racers. Sorry.
