Apologies to the quad fraternity for this information coming out late.
QUAD LICENCING / REGO
The quad licencing process is VERY VERY easy for anyone wishing to enter a
quad in the Yilgarn Rallye (or the Australasian Safari for that matter) this
year.
All you have to do is provide us the organisers at the time of submitting
your entry:
* make
* model
* year
* weight
* frame # (if it has one)
* engine #
* length in metres
We the organisers then submit that information to the WA Department of
Planning & Infrastructure (DPI) for a group event permit. DPI then grants
each quad a 1 month event licence.
AND THATS IT !! Easy eh !! The permits cost $37
So you do not have to go and get it registered at the local RTA/police etc,
and the quad does not have to go over the pits or be inspected etc.
