I thought '81/'82 were Gen 1's, '83/'84 were Gen 2's and '85/'86 were Gen 3's?

I don't think Honda designated 1,2 or 3rd Gen . Its something someone made up. That trike on Ebay is the 2nd model 250R.

Me and your old boy bought two new '82 models in April that year. They cost cost us $1,260 US each and with the exchange rate at that time was $1,140 Aud each. A big step-up in handling but not much faster than the old 180cc methonal burning 90's.

I've got a photo of the dealership we got them from. Pacific Beach Honda. It shows a heap of new trikes parked out front. I'll try and scan it and post it up.
