2 Day Safari...............

This is the event you want to be involved in 2009. You will race along fast open farm tracks and through slow Mallee scrub, over rocky hills, down channels and into swamp country in the centre of NSW.

The Condo 750 Rally has been running for 20 years and still the committee is able to find virgin routes and testing terrain which can test both man and machine. The total distance to be covered in 2009 is 880km.

A new twist for 2009 is the introduction of a quad class to the Moto category. With the inclusion of this class and no change in limiting the entries to 80 Motos the category will fill fast. The entry fee has been set at $415 and includes scrolls for both days (no more sticking page after page together).

The Auto category will be tightly contested like that shown last year at Condo 750 and in the Australasian Safari. Entry fee has been set at $650.

The Condobolin Showground will again be the event headquarters and Parc Ferme during the weekend and is available for competitors to camp. Euabalong, west of Condobolin will act as the meal break on both days, allowing the competitors and service crews to support a small community in the Condobolin district.

Scrutineering and documentation will be from 1400 till 2000 hours on Friday the 10th April at the Condobolin Showground. The first competitors leave the showground at 7.30 am both days.

Entries will open on the 1st January 2009 and close on the 3rd April. An up to date list will be posted on the event website as entries are confirmed.

For the event to run smoothly it requires control officials for both days. Please contact Deb Manwaring 02 68962953 or Bruce Patton 02 68975321 if you are able to assist

Please view the event website at www.condo750.com.au to obtain your category supplementary regulations and entry form.

For all enquiries please contact Anne Earney on (02) 6857 1199 or 0427 808158

Went and watched it a couple of years ago and thought it would be great on a quad. Now that it's doable I guess I should look more into it. You going yogie?

From what I can work out the race is 2 big loops of 400Km each. Bikes do one loop while the cars do the other, then they swap for the next day.

Alot of bike riders do this race as a bit of fun, drinking is compulsory and penalties apply if you are too serious........sounds very Thumb Pump 300.

There is a time limit.......finish by the end of the day.

With the entry......I belive (sp) the organisers have got Non-Registered Vehicle Permits. There are only 80 places total so if you want to enter do it now and worry about rego later.

Hey guys hands up who is going? Both of mine are! I see you only need a 100km fuel range aswell so there is no need for massive big tanks. Entrys are open now and they are only accepting 80 bike/quads so get a move on and make up your mind
