Howdy,

I have a 1999 Suzuki QuadRunner 500 4x4, I am swapping out the CV's with some replacements due to them being warn out.

The front right was easy to remove with a decent tap on the innter join with a bit of wood, but dammed if the left one will move, I have gone as far as making up a remover with stainless cable wrapped around the joint and tying the quad to the shed and using a block and chain on the cv, I had a crap load of pressure on it but still could not get it to pop out.

has anyone got any suggestions? Im 99% sure it removes the same as the right hand side, no signs of extra clips or anything I can see.

Cheers.

after a hell of a lot of effort shes out! looks like it was pretty rusted which I suspect was stopping the circlip from releasing, here a pic of the "special" tool I made to get it out... took about 10 solid blows with the quad anchored to the shed to move it!

cheers.
